Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from HTR online. HTR is a trading name of Worsley Capital Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16602712, registered office 10 Greensward House, Imperial Wharf, London SW6 2TG. You can reach us at jack@htr.life.

Your order

When you place an order we email to confirm we have received it. The contract between us is formed when we confirm your order has been accepted and is being prepared for dispatch. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or a price was clearly shown in error, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax we are required to charge. Launch prices shown on our site apply to orders placed before the date stated. Payment is taken at checkout by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or PayPal.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Delivery is covered in our shipping policy. You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order; our returns and refund policy explains how, and what happens if something is faulty.

Road-legal and off-road machines

The Jack, the Jack Flash, the Commuter 20 and the Sixteen are electrically assisted pedal cycles (EAPCs) under UK law: 250W, with assistance cutting out at 15.5 mph. The Rover, the Nomad and the Commuter Pro are Terrain Series machines. They are not road legal in the UK and are sold for use on private land with the landowner's permission, or on closed circuits. You are responsible for using each machine lawfully.

Using your bike safely

Please read the manual before riding, charge the battery only with the supplied charger, and keep up with servicing. Modifying the battery, charger or controller can make a bike unsafe or unlawful, and voids the warranty.

Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, but not for losses that were not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer. We are not responsible for business losses.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to it.
